The international golf course at Jack's Point Resort cements Queenstown as a golfing destination says New Zealand's leading course designer John Darby of the Queenstown based Darby Partners Limited. John designed the 18 hole par 72 golf course at Jacks Point and also designed the nearby Hills golf course which is the New Zealand open venue for the next few years. |

Te Anau Golf Course is at the entrance to the Fiordland National Park and is situated in the southwest of the South Island. Views from the course and the clubhouse take in the beautiful Lake Te Anau and the surrounding mountains. A beautiful sunny day gives you the feeling of being in the middle of paradise. |

Bounded on one side by the Clutha river and the state hwy on the other, Roxburgh Golf Course is a short but challenging layout, with tee shots over rocky outcrops to fairways below and greens surrounded by imposing rock faces make this course one of New Zealands unique layouts. |

The Millbrook Golf Resort is just a short drive from Queenstown just towards Arrowtown and was designed by our own golfing legend Sir Bob Charles, is it sits in a natural alpine amphitheater against the backdrop of the Remarkables mountain Range and exploits the dramatic terrain fully. |

Queenstown (Kelvin Heights) Golf Course is a parkland's layout with loads of elevation changes, it sits on the peninsular that sits out into the main lake of Queenstown so it has got the best scenery available on this tour, it has lots of sloped fairways and being able to control the flight of your ball around this layout will be of great value. |

Arrowtown is a 15 minute drive east of Queenstown and was an old gold mining town, the Arrowtown Golf Course golf winds its way around a links type layout with some rocky outcrops and fairways tend to feel like the are a course of there own, I truly enjoyed my round here at Arrowtown and although a short course it still has holes that can bite you. |

Cromwell is about a 30 minute drive east of Queenstown and sits next to New Zealand's newest man made lake, the Cromwell Golf Course golf course is carved amoung sand hills and marram grass and is rated by former New Zealand golfing professional Greg Turner as one of the best country course's in the South Island. |

Wanaka is another day trip and is about 40 minutes drive north east of Queenstown, the town is the little sister of Queenstown and sits on Lake Wanaka, the Wanaka Golf Course is in an alpine setting with stunning views of Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps, its only 5 minutes walk from town and this gem of a course was opened in 1927 and is now established as a premiere golfing destination. |

Further South of Cromwell and a 50 minute drive from Queenstown is Alexandra Golf Course, this is the by far the most improved golf course in the Central Otago. This will be a great day trip showing off Otago's great landscapes on your journey, once there you will see why this club has come a long way in the last decade. |
