21 Day Resort Course Tour
Carrington, Kauri Cliffs, Gulf Harbour, Formosa, The Lakes, Dunes, Cape Kidnappers, Kinloch and the Wairakei International, Clearwater, Terrace Downs, Millbrook and Jack's Point Resort courses.
This is one of our best North Island tours we have, and the resort courses are exceptional, with a variety of layouts and views that will showcase the North Island's dramatic and breathtaking terrain, from the clifftop fairways at the Capekiddnappers resort course to the lake views at the inland Kinloch resort, which is the only Jack Nicklaus designed course in New Zealand.
This tour has been designed to give you plenty of time to enjoy not only the courses, but everything the local regions have to offer, from Auckland's bustling city to the quiet clifftop retreats at the Cape in Napier and Kauri Cliffs in the Northern district. The only tour better than this is the 21 day Resort Tour of both Islands.

Formosa Golf Resort course covers an area of 440 acres which makes it New Zealand's longest championship course at 6650 metres off the pro tees. From its cliff tops and coastal fairways, the course has panoramic views of Waiheke Island, Rangitoto and the distant Coromandel peninsula. There are plenty of native trees and 79 bunkers and over 1,000 mature Phonix and Washingtonian Palms and at least 16 holes have a beautiful north facing view of the Hauraki Gulf. |
Day Three
Head north of the city for a round of golf at the GULF HARBOUR RESORT which sits out on the Whangaparoa peninsular and has awesome views of the Pacific and back across the harbour of Auckland city.
|

|

This 6400 metre par 72 golf course is located at Gulf Harbour on the Whangaparaoa Peninsular, just north of Auckland, it meanders through native grasses and vegetation and has a natural look and feel from start to finish. |
 |
Carrington Golf Course was inaugurated on December 15, 2003 and designed by American golf course designer Matt Dye. The unique feature of the Carrington course is that, although it has an oceanside location, it looks and plays like an inland course, complete with rolling hills, valleys and natural water hazards, it is sighted on a flat plateau with man made obstacles and produced from artificial contouring of the land. Carrington stresses the natural contours of its location on the gently sloping lower levels of a hill side site adjacent to the Pacific Ocean. |
Day Six
Today is the day to play one of the most talked about golf resort's in the North Island, the KAURI CLIFFS RESORT, it is about a 45 minite drive from Kaitaia and you may want to get an early start, as a good warm up and practice putt will be essential for a round of golf on this great test of golf.
|

|
Kauri Cliffs was designed and built by David Harman, it was the first of two cliff side courses built by the American billionaire Julian Robertson. The championship golf course measures 6,510 meters and offers five sets of tees to challenge every skill level, the condition is pristine and some call it the Pebble Beach of New Zealand. Fifteen holes have stunning view's of the Pacific Ocean and the islands that are scattered as far as the eye can see, six of these fifteen seem to plunge into the sea. The beautiful inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland. It's a truley remarkable layout that will have you wanting more. |
Day Seven
The time has come to leave Northland and head back down south through Auckland and accross to the Coromandal where you will spend three nights and play two very good resort courses, one inland layout and the other almost surrounded by sea. The drive will take about 5 to 6 hours and again if you are a golfing attick and wat to squeeze in another round just let us know, this is the longest drive on the two week tour, so in the winter months it may pay to have the day off.
