Wellington Seven Day Tour
Miramar, Manor Park, Shandon, The Hutt, Royal Wellington and Karori golf courses.
Play 6 rounds of golf in New Zealand's capital city which has plenty to do and see in between your golfing, including all that you would expect in a capital city. Situated right in the heart of Wellington, playing Wellington's best courses which are all great tests of golf, and Wellington which is the windy city, demands a good short game and low ball flight, unless downwind, then tee it high and let it rip.

The Miramar Links Course is right next door to the Wellington airport and in my opinion one of Wellington's best, redesigned in 1995 by Graham Marsh who left his mark with more bunkers than you can count and greens that seem to have different levels all over them, it is a very open course so it can get very windy and is one of the most undulating courses I have played. |

Situated 14km from the city center, Manor Park Golf Course is a long narrow course boarded by the Hutt river and the Wellington train lines, it is an easy walking course and boasts to being the home of many great N.Z playing professionals. |

Another course I highly rate is the Shandon Golf Course, it's located in Petone just as you enter the Hutt Valley and is a parkland's layout with gentle undulations, boarded by water, and well bunkered, Shandon demands respect as it is a test right from the start, where the first tee shot and approach take plenty of focus and accuracy. |

The Hutt Golf Course is located only a few blocks away from Shandon and is the North Islands oldest golf course, it is a bit up and down with tree lined fairways as you would expect from an old layout, but it is still a real tough course to score on, and if the wind gets up then all the Hutt Valley Courses are a true test of endurance. The par 3 finishing hole over the lake is a real test when you have a good round going. |

Enjoy a great road trip to the west of Wellington into Karori Valley where the Karori Golf Club is located, it is a lot different to all the other courses on this tour, its about a 40 minutes drive from the city and once you arrive you will feel the peace and quiet along with a brilliant view of the surrounding hills, its a real gem of a course with loads of elevation changes and elevated tees and greens, it is definitely a tough walk, so if you would like a cart let us know and we will get it booked. The other courses are all reasonably easy to walk with Miramar having a few smaller hills. |

Royal Wellington Golf Course is also located in the Hutt Valley and was a private club up until a few years back when they opened the gates up to visitors, visiting it you wouldn't think so, I have been invited to play Royal Sydney and Middlemore and Royal Wellington have definitely done well to make all visitors feel welcome. |
